"KNOCK YOUR BALLS AROUND THE WORLD!"
URBAN CROQUET 2009 IN REVIEW It was remarkable. The weather Godz gave us tremendous sunny and warm day for Urban Croquet 09.
This only started the day out great and it continued on as Teams dressed in non-traditional croquet outfits poured
in to mallet-off. Then the sound of balls being whacked around the flags of the world echoed throughout
the lawn of our Host the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 683. The plays were mixed with laughter, arguments, discussions, disappointment, clowning around, jubilation, confusion,
plotting, and cheating on the unusually designed courts as Teams battled for the coveted 1st Place and 1st Place Looser trophies.
Fortunately our winner of the Best Costume in the Men’s category, Dick Cheney look-a-like didn’t have to
